Welcome to twenty-eight of 28 days of Self-Love.
Well, here we are at the close of 28-days, sigh…
gratitude. |ˈɡradəˌt(y)o͞od|
noun
the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.
- Music Inspiration: Camille Saint-Saëns – Le Cygne
- Day 28 Exercise: Streaming Gratitude
We end where we began. Find a comfy spot and grab your notebook. Write: I am grateful for… at the top of a fresh page, and make a list.
Now, focus on all the subtle changes you’ve made over the course of the last 28 days. How do you feel? What did you learn or discover about yourself? What will you take away from the time spent checking in with yourself each day?
- Day 28 Create: 3 Line Poem
Of course, we will end here too. Create a 3 Line Poem.
I can’t believe how quickly this month passed and how each of you inspired me in numerous ways! To those of you that stuck with this commitment, Bravo! By carving out time to take care of ourselves we learn more about who we are. Then, we are able to truly give back in meaningful ways. Keep breathing, keep writing, and be present in each moment.
Love and Ink,
Grace

Rejuvenating force

Life’s cycle
Thanks for sharing your experience Grace.
Thank you! Your words are lovely. Keep writing and sharing your gift! xx
Few people are so aptly named. Thank you, Grace. Can you tell me about a time when you were totally mean/jerk? Go as dark as you dare.
Aw! Haha. Depending on who you talk to, I’m sure some regard me as a mean/jerk. I’ve made many mistakes and have knowingly and unknowingly hurt people throughout my life. This is just part of the life process, I suppose.
I know the sepsis of my darkest times, especially during the hardships of the last two years, is what finally made me reach inside to carve out the infection of old, harmful and destructive programming. The process of self-understanding was/is quite ugly at times, but I’ve had a huge shift in my outlook on life coming through the other side. I no longer make time for people who don’t make time for me; l no longer settle for any one-sided relationships; I know my worth; I now focus all my love toward the healthy relationships I’m investing in and every project I decide to take on.
Thank you so much for joining this journey! xx

Bless the black fist deep inside me. With the relentless strength
of that crushing grip I can reach through death despair shame
And lift that baby dove so gently and tenderly to heaven flight radiance
Hi, Grace. I just wanted to say THANK YOU. The month went a little wonky on me, and I wasn’t able to finish strong, but I was blessed by all of your prompts in one way or another, and especially blessed by the ones I was able to poem to. My lack of completion should in no way reflect on your amazing inspiration. ;)
Thanks again!
