Ploughshare – Day 6

Second-space,
resting rush,
unprecedented is the skill,
the simple swim of sight
as precise hours obscure darkness.

So this thing,
of known chase and pulse
at such an hour
will render windbound collateral—
a furrow.

And plough and level
the heart.
“Leave me!”
The cry, I can’t escape.
Spilt blood for wine and the awe.

Words, love them! Have some? Leave them.
