Journey (redo)

The narrative of my flesh
is erupting now,
and I cannot pull
the stars any closer
toward my mouth.
So I swallow whole
the entire night sky
and flee with only
memory
of foreign moons
and tears of crystal
ache; an afterbirth
of a life expelled.
a life with confines
and constraints
that I choke back
black
bile
flight
there is no other way
this script is coded
in skin, and breasts
and hips, lips of love
have leapt and I’ve
nothing
nothing left—
The narrative of my flesh
is erupting now.

    1. Thanks so much, DeRicki! I’ve been slacking here on my personal writing. Other obligations have taken top priority. Yikes I’d better get back to it. Happy poeming, my friend!

  1. Loving Code

    As i journey
    throughout
    your
    written word..
    Some would
    find us
    erotically disturbed…

    However,
    i fall into
    each and every word
    as
    awakening dream

    To the first kiss
    i ever heard…

    In a loving code…

Words, love them! Have some? Leave them.
