matutine

sunsets – and I’ve squandered days
my soul seeps into the lamp-base
a cobalt hour – seasons of haste

  1. Rising in or just before sunrise, star, idea, love comet; hey , learned a new word; far out–hell of a lot in this small dusky gem, both urgency & alacrity; very cool.

  2. “my soul seeps into the lamp base”…that line grabbed me, along with the whole feel of this brief but powerful poem. Thank you for linking in with us tonight, Grace.

  3. Oh, I loved this one. So quick to the punch. I am not sure of the intent, but I am sure taking stock of my shoulda, coulda, woulda moments right now. Thank you for sharing this.

Words, love them! Have some? Leave them.
