Ocher Morning

Adam Hall Fine Art

I sip my coffee, brown
Lace words on invisible ribbons, grey
I taste nature on my tongue in russet shades
And feel the marigold daybreak.

Another Autumn, many choose
To steep their cider a burnt sienna,
But I paint the remaining warmth
of the waning sun onto my page.
