orbital chaos

syzygy
an alignment
of we

only we
were not
we were

ephemera
of liquid
poetry

pooled
in thimbles
too small

to grieve
we were
phosphenes

and other
pressure
forced

things
a blink
of an eye

syzygy
ill aligned
were we

Poetry Month continues, and this is Day 29 of NaPoWriMo for me.

30 poems in 30 days. Do you dabble in word play as well? Let’s create 30 in 30.

Love and Ink,

Grace

  1. This is excellent poetry.

    I completely identify with this:
    “only we
    were not
    we were”

    Existence is such a contradiction.

    Love this, as well:
    “we were
    phosphenes”

Words, love them! Have some? Leave them.
