Spring Cleaning

I do my
spring cleaning
in the fall

weed and wash
the regret
of it all

a season
of dying,
a colorful death

a house finch
on the feeder . . .
autumn’s final breath

  1. I liked this very much, the rhythm was lovely and the thought of sweeping away the lost/last seasons and its dirt spoke to the heart of every hopeful soul.

    1. I am so glad you liked it! This was an accidental post, not meant to go out until next week. I’m afraid I’m juggling too many hats at the moment and typed in the 22nd instead of the 29th. Oh well!

Perhaps I need to slow down a tad. Thanks again.

Words, love them! Have some? Leave them.
