Rooted

Rooted

Rooted
in their
slow death,

trees
do not
worry away

hours
of night.
A perpetual

progression,
a dance
with the wind,

an affair
with the
sun.

No,
trees
do not

worry
or fret.
They live

without
knowing
of their

eventual
and timely
death.
